Use your theuxbites reports in Claude and ChatGPT

theuxbites measures a page in a real browser and keeps the record. The connector lets your assistant read those reports, so you can ask it to fix what the audit found, and then check the result with the next audit. It works with claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Code and other apps that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Address: https://theuxbites.com/api/mcp

Requires a Pro or Studio plan. See plans.

Add it

  1. claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps

    1. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
    2. Paste https://theuxbites.com/api/mcp and add it.
    3. Choose Connect. You are sent to theuxbites to sign in and choose what the connection may do.
  2. ChatGPT

    1. Turn on Developer mode in the Apps settings (ChatGPT renames these menus from time to time; its help page has the current path).
    2. Create an app with the address https://theuxbites.com/api/mcp and OAuth as the sign-in method.
    3. Sign in to theuxbites when ChatGPT sends you there, and choose what the connection may do.
  3. Claude Code

    1. In a terminal: claude mcp add --scope user --transport http theuxbites https://theuxbites.com/api/mcp
    2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose theuxbites and Authenticate. A browser opens to sign in.
  4. Cursor and other MCP clients

    1. If the client supports OAuth sign-in, add the address and sign in when asked.
    2. Otherwise create an API key on the AI assistant page of theuxbites and send it as Authorization: Bearer followed by the key.

Signing in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. On the theuxbites screen you see which app is asking and where you go back to. Reading is always allowed; starting audits and marking issues are off unless you tick them.

What it can do

  • List projects list_projects reads only

The sites in your account and the pages audited in each, with the date of the latest audit.

  • Get page report get_page_report reads only

The latest audit of a page: the score with its working, every finding, where it comes from and a suggested fix.

  • Compare audits compare_audits reads only

What the newest audit of a page reports against the one before: no longer reported, still reported, new.

  • List issues list_issues reads only

The findings of a page with their ids and any mark on them.

  • Get account status get_account_status reads only

Your plan, what is left of this month’s allowances, and what the connection may do.

  • Start an audit start_audit changes something

A new audit of a page of a site already in your account. Uses one audit from your monthly allowance. Only if you tick it when you connect.

  • Mark an issue mark_issue changes something

Marks a finding fixed or not relevant; the report shows the mark came from your assistant. Only if you tick it when you connect.

No connection can change your account settings, plan or billing, delete anything, or run an AI analysis. Requests are limited per hour and per month by plan. Reports quote text from the audited websites, and the assistant is told to treat it as data, not as instructions.

Try asking

  • “What can you do with theuxbites?”
  • “Fix the three most urgent issues on my homepage.”
  • “Compare the last two audits of my pricing page.”

Your data

For each connection theuxbites keeps the name the app gives itself, the address it returns to, what you allowed, when it was connected and last used, and a fingerprint (SHA-256) of its tokens, never the tokens themselves. When your assistant reads a report, that report is sent to the assistant’s provider under that provider’s terms. See the privacy policy.

Disconnect

The AI assistant page in theuxbites lists every connected app with Disconnect; its access ends at once. Removing the connector in Claude or ChatGPT stops it on their side.
