Your audit is produced with AI. It can be wrong — review the findings before you act on them. How we use AI
How It Works
Three steps and you're done
Paste your URL
Any publicly accessible website works — your own, a client's, or one you're just curious about.
We run the analysis
Performance metrics, accessibility checks, and UX patterns — all measured against real data and research-backed standards.
You get a clear report
Not a wall of numbers. A prioritized breakdown of what failed, how urgent it is, and where to start.
Live site or static mockup — we cover both
Whether you're auditing a live site or reviewing a design before it ships, theuxbites gives you the same quality UX feedback.
URL Analysis
Paste a URL, get a full audit
Point theuxbites at any live website and get a UX report, usually in under a minute — performance, accessibility, SEO, and UX heuristics in one prioritized breakdown.
- Speed metrics (LCP, CLS, blocking time)
- WCAG accessibility checks
- SEO & GEO / AI visibility audit
- UX heuristics evaluation
Screenshot Analysis
Upload a screenshot, get visual UX feedback
Not everything is live. Upload a mockup, prototype screenshot, or any UI image — theuxbites analyzes it for usability issues, visual hierarchy, and actionable improvements.
- Visual hierarchy & layout clarity
- CTA prominence & button affordance
- Contrast ratios & readability
- Form usability & error prevention
Both analysis types are included in every plan — free to get started.

Performance & Core Web Vitals
Measured with Lighthouse, Google's open-source auditing tool: LCP, CLS and blocking time from a real page load. Numbers, not guesswork.
UX Heuristics & Usability
Checks based on published UX principles such as Hick's and Fitts's laws, each with its source. Findings are ordered by urgency, so you can see where to start.
Accessibility (WCAG)
50+ automated checks against accessibility standards. Issues surfaced and prioritized — not buried in a raw log.
AI Search Visibility (GEO)
ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews follow different rules than classic search. We check whether your site is structured for them.
Copy & Messaging
Your value proposition, CTA strength, message clarity, and tone — all scored. Not just your code, but your words too.
Business Intelligence
Competitor gaps, industry KPI benchmarks, and AI-powered growth opportunities — researched and tailored to your specific domain.

Most tools check if Google can crawl you. We check if AI crawlers can read you.
AI search engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews — don't rank pages. They cite sources. If their crawlers cannot read your content, it cannot be quoted in those answers.
Our GEO audit checks the things we can verify from outside: whether AI crawlers are allowed in, whether your content is in the HTML they receive, and whether it is structured and described. It cannot tell you whether an AI engine will cite you.

A chatbot, AI-written text, a generated image. Which of them do you have to label?
Article 50 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 August 2026. It sets four transparency obligations, and which ones reach you depends on what you built and what you publish.
Answer up to twenty questions and see which obligations your answers trigger, with the paragraph each one rests on and the official sources to read next. Free, no account, no AI model, nothing stored.
Guidance to help you find your way — not legal advice and not an official EU tool. Take the result to a lawyer before you act on it.

Every finding shows where it came from.
An audit is only useful if you can defend it to your developer, your client or your boss. This is what stands behind each number.
Measured in a real browser
Each audit loads your page in Chrome and records what happened with Lighthouse, the open-source tool Google maintains. The numbers are measurements, not estimates.
Grounded in published usability principles
Findings come from Lighthouse audits, WCAG-based accessibility checks and published UX principles such as Hick's and Fitts's laws. UX findings name the principle and link its source.
AI visibility checked the way AI crawlers see you
Most AI crawlers do not run JavaScript. The GEO checks read the HTML your server actually sends, and tell you how much of the page is missing from it.
No finding without a failed check
A check that could not run is left out, not guessed, and it never lowers a score. The action plan lists what failed and nothing else.
AI-written content is labelled and signed
Anything a model wrote is marked as AI-generated on screen. Exports carry a cryptographic signature you can verify against our published public key.
Guidance, never a legal verdict
The EU AI Act check explains which transparency duties may reach you and cites the official texts it was written from. It does not declare anyone compliant.

Key terms, plainly explained
A quick reference for the concepts behind every theuxbites report.
- UX Audit
- A structured review of a website that identifies usability problems, friction points, and missed opportunities — before real users encounter them. A UX audit results in a prioritized list of improvements ranked by impact.
- Core Web Vitals
- Three performance metrics defined by Google — Largest Contentful Paint (loading), Interaction to Next Paint (responsiveness), and Cumulative Layout Shift (visual stability) — that measure real-world user experience.
- Accessibility
- How usable a website is for people with a range of abilities, including those relying on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies. Measured against the WCAG standard.
- Performance Score
- A 0–100 composite rating reflecting how quickly a website loads, becomes interactive, and responds to user input. Derived from Lighthouse metrics weighted by real-world impact.
- Usability
- The ease with which visitors can accomplish their goals on a website — finding information, completing a task, or making a purchase. Poor usability directly causes users to leave.
- Action Plan
- A prioritized list of website improvements generated after a UX audit, organized by impact and effort. An action plan shows teams where to start to get the biggest result with the least work.
- GEO — AI Search Visibility
- Whether a website is structured so that AI-powered search engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews — can discover, understand, and cite it. Unlike classic SEO, GEO focuses on semantic structure, content clarity, and citation-worthiness rather than keyword ranking.
- Copy & Messaging Audit
- An analysis of the written content on a page: how clearly the value proposition is communicated, how effective the calls to action are, how consistent the tone is, and how understandable the overall messaging is. Scored and accompanied by specific improvement suggestions.
- Business Intelligence
- An AI-powered analysis of a domain that identifies competitor gaps, relevant industry benchmarks, and prioritized growth opportunities — giving context beyond the technical audit. Available on Pro and Studio plans.
- Screenshot Analysis
- A method of analyzing a static UI image — mockup, prototype, or live screenshot — for usability and visual design issues, without needing a live website. Useful for reviewing designs before they ship.
